The sale will start at 1:00.

SALE FACILITY:
The sale will take place in the new sale barn at Strawberry Ridge south
of Livingston
DIRECTIONS:
The sale will take place at the new sale barn at Strawberry Ridge Reds.
The address is 25 Elbow Creek Road. From Interstate 90, take the Livingston
Exit #333. Take US 89 South (Toward Yellowstone Park) for 15 miles to
Mill Creek Road. Turn left and go East (across the Yellowstone River).
Turn left at the stop sign at East River Road. Go 1.3 miles to Elbow
Creek Road and turn right. Go 1/4 mile and go straight across the cattle
guard to the sale barn.
TRANSPORTATION:
Major airlines serve both Bozeman and Billings. Both have car rental
agencies. Livingston has an airport for private planes.
MEALS
Catering by Susan Pauli, Big Timber.
Homemade sweet rolls and coffee will be served after 9:00, sponsored
by Sleeping Giant Genetics, Livingston.
Lunch will be served at 11:30 with the sale starting at 1:00.
SALE REPRESENTATIVES
BUYER REGISTRATION
All prospective buyers must register prior to the sale and receive a
buyer number.
LIVESTOCK INSURANCE
Insurance agents will be present at the sale if you wish to insure your
purchase.
Tell the clerks when you checkout if you wish to insure your purchases
and they will record the necessary information. All purchases are the
buyers’ responsibility as soon as they are sold.
SIGHT UNSEEN PURCHASES
We strongly urge buyers who are unable to attend make contact well before
the sale with Larson’s, Strawberry Ridge, or one of the Sale Representatives
to discuss your needs. Disruptions in phone service can occur, so if
you leave a bid with someone, all bids will be handled with complete
respect and confidentially.
All Sight Unseen Purchases are guaranteed to meet with your satisfaction.
If you don’t like them, you don’t own them!
PHONE BIDS
We urge all bidders to contact the sellers or buyer representatives
well before the sale. We can assist you with additional information
and answer any questions.
Phone bids via the conference call will be the most reliable way of
bidding by phone.
CONFERENCE CALL BIDDING
There will be a conference call line sale day.
You MUST PRE-REGISTER by March 7th and receive a buyer’s
number in order to participate.

SALE DAY PHONES
ULTRASOUND
Ultrasound data will be available sale day. Ultrasound will be done
February 2nd, which is not in time to be included in the catalog. The
data should be available several weeks before the sale, so if you desire
data before the sale, call or e-mail either Larsons or Strawberry Ridge.
SCROTAL MEASUREMENTS
As we do not fertility test until closer to the sale date, scrotal measurements
and semen tests will be available several weeks before the sale by calling
the sellers. They will be posted sale day.
FERTILITY TESTING
All bulls have been semen tested and their fertility is guaranteed.
All heifers are guaranteed open and ready to breed.
REGISTRATION
Registration papers will be transferred on each bull to the new owner,
upon complete settlement. Papers are transferred on all heifers selling
for $900 or above. Papers for those selling under $900 will be issued
for an additional $100 if desired by the new owner.
SALE ORDER
The cattle will sell in catalog order.
RETAINED INTEREST BULLS
We are retaining a 1/2 interest or 1/3 interest in all bulls as denoted
in the catalog. We are selling the remaining interest, full possession,
and full salvage value on these bulls. We also retain a breeding interest,
for in-herd use only, in all other bulls in the catalog. We reserve
the right to collect semen at the convenience of the buyer.
TRUCKING ARRANGEMENTS
Delivery is free to central points in Montana. For more distant locations,
we will assist in making delivery arrangements at the lowest possible
cost. There is a $25 discount per bull if hauled sale day. We ask that
no cattle be loaded until after the sale. Feed costs will be covered
by sellers until March 22nd, 2006, after which a feed charge per day
will be added to the purchase price.
